I attempted to keep what school I went to a secret, but realize this post is a dead giveaway…
The Hammer Museum has officially been a partner with UCLA since 1994. Located in Westwood, the museum offers a collection of permanent and temporary art exhibitions, along with a cafe that doubles as a great place to study when the campus libraries seems like an absolute drag.
My friends and I went to the Hammer during 10th week of Winter Quarter to get our study game on and decided to explore the museum after what seemed like 100 hours of studying.

I really fell in love with this display. According to the Hammer Museum Instagram (@hammer_museum) “Yunhee Min’s “For Instance” explores the impact of color and geometry on spatial perception in her vibrantly hued paintings and sculptures. Drawing on influences as varied as color theory, minimalism, the history of abstract painting, and architecture, she creates immersive spaces that energize their surroundings.”
Nothing says “we spent the whole day with Katie” like a Snow Cam selfie.
